The BWB contract with STATS, LLC for daily MLB statistics
includes monthly payments through December. In order
to cover the last few months (I needed to offer this in
September) and to free up some cash for advertising over the
winter, Benchwarmer Baseball presents you with this offer:
Never pay for a team - ever again.
There is a catch. A one-time fee to cover one month
of the BWB stats bill. $750. No such thing as a
free lunch, remember?
Obviously, this isn't for everyone. But, you have
an opportunity to invest in BWB and gain these benefits:
- As many teams as you want each season - for no
additional charge*
- You may transfer the free seasons you win for
post-season victories to any BWB owner.
- Bring your friends into BWB. You can give out up
to 5 startup/orphan teams for free to BRAND NEW owners
each season.
- No promises at this time, but there may be the
potential to return your all or part of your investment if
BWB expands successfully in future years.
If BWB goes out of business in the next five years,
you'll get a refund of $150 for each season not completed.
If you leave on your own accord, there is no refund -
though you can return at any time with the same benefits.
This offer is available for a limited time - until
12/31/07 - or contact BWB if you need a little extra time to
pay.
It may be offered again in 2008, but the cost will likely
increase to $1000 to match the increased price for stats for
that season.
NOTE - This offer is open again until March 31, 2008 -
at $750, it will not be this low again. (If you've
already paid, we can deduct that amount).

*Sorry, this does not apply to league,
conference, or division packages. If you are part of
one of those packages, that package price will not change.
Additional Free Teams
In order to seed the beginnings of more leagues, ALL
division winners in 2007 will receive an extra free team for
2008. This team is like the teams awarded to the
winners of the lower-rung post season tournaments - they do
not apply to the franchise that won the team (that reward is
reserved for the league champion). These teams may
only be used for new teams in brand new leagues (no orphans
- at least to begin with) - but unlike the free teams
awarded in past seasons, these may be transferred to another
owner. They are good for 2008 only and cannot be
carried over into 2009.

BWB has secured an advertising slot in this winter's
Fantasy Baseball Index. But I used their ad creation
department - for that ad only. I took a shot at
creating a web banner ad a couple years ago -- it's not my
bag. Do you have experience with graphics and an eye
for creativity?
