The 2006 Benchwarmer Bash

Now that the game has grown beyond a single league, Benchwarmer Baseball will hold a final playoff tournament each fall, taking all the league champions (and perhaps some wildcard teams) and crowning a single champ for all of Benchwarmer Baseball.

In 2006, with 7 leagues, we take the 7 league champs plus 9 wild cards - the nine non-championship teams with the highest Power Index Numbers.  Teams are seeded in order of Power Index rating, with the league champs automatically filling the top 7 spots.

2006 Seeding:

1. London - Beatleball Champ - Power Index: 1

2. Atco - K Street Champ - Power Index: 2

3. Motley - Shadowball Champ - Power Index: 4

4. Milford - Hall of Fame Champ - Power Index: 16

5. Jersey Sea Shore - Reality Bites Champ - Power Index: 24

6. Nokomis - Longball Champ - Power Index: 26

7. Boomer - Golden Throat Champ - Power Index: 27

8. Oaxaca (Hall of Fame) - Wild Card - Power Index: 3

9. NJ (Shadowball) - Wild Card - Power Index: 5

10. Kansas City (Golden Throat) - Wild Card - Power Index: 6

11. Boar's Nest (Hall of Fame) - Wild Card - Power Index: 7

12. Philadelphia (Golden Throat) - Wild Card - Power Index: 8

13. New Jersey (K Street) - Wild Card - Power Index: 9

14. Carlisle (Beatleball) - Wild Card - Power Index: 10

15. South Hill (Longball) - Wild Card - Power Index: 11

16. Dawns (K Street) - Wild Card - Power Index: 12

We will not re-seed in between rounds.
