Resolving Contested Draft Picks

We resolve in order of the count of teams selecting a player - starting with the ones picked most often.

Bryce Harper – was selected by 12 Teams

Check the rules for all the tiebreakers, but at this stage we go all the way down to tiebreaker #5 - draft ranking.  From that aspect, FV gets him based on being the only team to rank him #1.

Carlos Santana was picked by 9 teams.

Again, going down to draft rank, Kalas City gets him.

Four different players were selected by 8 teams.  We start off resolving them in descending order of salary.

When players have the same salary, we resolve in order of position in baseball scoring (all OF = 7, DH = 8).  If the position is the same, we go in alphabetical order...

Here, both La Playa and Screaming gave him the same rank - so in a random draw (tiebreaker #6) Ackley goes to Screaming
